Red sandal/ pterocarpan santalinus, also known as :- almug, lal Chandan,undum etc. P.santalinus,commoly know as red sandal, it is a native and endemic to India and each only be found in the southern parts of Eastern Ghats, It is small tree that grows to5-8 meter in height and has a dark grayish bark.
